📝 Abstract
Flexible career arrangements have become increasingly important in modern workplaces because employees are seeking greater control over when, where, and how they work. Flexible careers may include flexible Research Paper working hours, remote or hybrid work, part-time employment, job sharing, career breaks, and opportunities to change career paths. This study examines the relationship between flexible career arrangements and employee work satisfaction. The study focuses on how flexibility influences employees' work-life balance, motivation, productivity, commitment, and overall satisfaction with their jobs. A descriptive research design was used for the study. Primary data were considered through a structured questionnaire, with an illustrative sample of 100 employees. The questionnaire included questions related to flexible working arrangements, work-life balance, job satisfaction, productivity, and organizational support. The results indicate that employees generally have a positive attitude toward flexible career arrangements. A majority of respondents reported that flexibility helps them manage personal and professional responsibilities more effectively. Employees who perceived higher levels of flexibility also reported greater work satisfaction, motivation, and work-life balance. The study concludes that flexible career arrangements can play an important role in improving employee satisfaction and supporting employee retention. However, flexibility should be implemented with clear policies, effective communication, performance-based evaluation, and equal opportunities. Organizations that provide meaningful career flexibility can create a more employee-friendly and productive workplace.
