📝 Abstract
Distributed multi-party data processing enables independent organizations to collaboratively aggregate valuable analytical insights without centralizing raw underlying data. However, existing distributed computing architectures exhibit a fundamental tension between participant confidentiality, systemic governance accountability, and resilience against adversarial entities. Mainstream frameworks predominantly focus on communication efficiency or algorithmic throughput, lacking a unified theoretical foundation for dynamic policy enforcement, participant identity verification, verifiable auditing, and policy-driven threat mitigation This paper presents a conceptual theoretical framework for governed multi-party aggregation that formalizes the decoupling of regulatory and operational control planes from raw aggregation execution engines. We establish a clear taxonomy of distributed threat models, analyzing the inherent trade-offs between cryptographic privacy masking, statistical noise perturbation, and metric-based Byzantine outlier filtering. Furthermore, we outline principles for zero-trust participant admission, policy-driven dynamic operational mode selection, and tamper-evident cryptographic event auditing. By providing a clear, framework-agnostic theoretical architecture, this work establishes fundamental design guidelines for secure, privacy-preserving, and regulation-compliant distributed computing systems.
