Mutual funds have become an important investment option for individuals who want to invest their savings in financial markets with professional management and diversification. Young investors are increasingly interested in investment opportunities, but their awareness and understanding of mutual funds may vary depending on their financial knowledge, income, education, risk-taking ability, and access to financial information. This study focuses on examining the level of mutual fund awareness among young investors. The study aims to understand young investors’ knowledge of mutual funds, their investment preferences, sources of information, awareness of different types of mutual funds, and factors influencing their investment decisions. It also examines the major benefits and risks perceived by young investors while investing in mutual funds. Primary data can be collected through a structured questionnaire from young investors, while secondary data can be obtained from books, journals, research papers, websites, and financial reports. The study is expected to identify the level of awareness among young investors and the factors that influence their willingness to invest in mutual funds. The findings may help financial institutions, mutual fund companies, and financial advisors develop better awareness and financial education programs for young investors. Overall, the study highlights the importance of financial literacy and informed investment decisions among the younger generation.
