📝 Abstract
The rapid growth of electric vehicles (EVs) is driven by the need to reduce pollution and dependence on fossil fuels. An important part of an EV is the charging system and the battery management system (BMS). This project focuses on the design and study of an on-board integrated charger with a battery management system for electric vehicles. The main aim of this system is to charge the vehicle battery safely, efficiently, and reliably while monitoring battery performance. An on-board charger is installed inside the vehicle and converts AC power from the electrical grid into DC power required to charge the battery. The battery management system continuously monitors important battery parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, and state of charge (SOC). It protects the battery from overcharging, deep discharge, overheating, and short circuits, thereby increasing battery life and improving vehicle safety
