📝 Abstract
With the exponential growth of digital data and cloud-based storage services, it is essential to secure and protect critical files and information from cyber attacks. Traditional storage services provide rudimentary security measures, such as password protection, making them vulnerable to cyber attacks such as hacking, data theft, and misuse of data. Therefore, in this project, we propose a solution called AI-Powered Cloud Encrypted File Locker with Risk-Aware Access, Multi-Factor Authentication, AI File Classification and Adaptive Self-Destruct Mechanism for cloud security. The users are allowed to upload, download, store files securely and encrypted in the cloud, without revealing any plaintext data by encrypting all files using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) prior to storage in the cloud. The system also features Multi-Factor Authentication that comprises a combination of password check, voice authentication and device identifier check to authenticate the authorized user. The system uses an Artificial Intelligence-based Risk Analysis module that authenticates the users based on their login credentials, device fingerprint, location and past access patterns to identify suspicious activities, such as login attempt from unusual locations or unfamiliar devices. Upon identifying such activity, additional authentication measures are enforced such as voice authentication check and login is denied if authentication fails. The system also offers an AI-based File Classification module that segregates and classifies files based on their sensitivity such as normal, personal, or confidential documents such as resumes, bank statements, etc and enforces stricter security policies for sensitive documents, such as limiting decryption attempts for sensitive files. Self-Destruct mechanism allows users to set an expiry time and date for the uploaded documents and automatically deletes the files after the stipulated period or if the limit of maximum decryption attempts is reached thus minimizing the risk of information being readily accessible in an unsecured manner after its required use. Encrypted preview allows users to see the content of an encrypted file without decryption to enhance the security. The solution provides a complete cloud security system by incorporating Artificial Intelligence techniques along with a robust set of authentication measures for secure data storage.
