Automation has become a key requirement in modern manufacturing industries to improve productivity, accuracy, and efficiency. Labeling is a crucial operation in packaging industries such as food, pharmaceutical, beverage, and cosmetics. Traditional manual labeling methods are time-consuming, labor-intensive, and prone to human errors such as misalignment, air bubbles, and inconsistent placement. This research paper presents the design and development of a low-cost automated round bottle labeling machine. The system integrates mechanical components such as rollers, motor-driven mechanisms, and a frame structure with electronic components including sensors and control units. The working principle involves synchronized rotation of the bottle and label dispensing mechanism to achieve precise and uniform labeling. The developed system significantly reduces manual effort, improves labeling accuracy, and increases production rate. It is particularly suitable for small and medium-scale industries due to its cost-effectiveness and ease of operation. The study also highlights possible future advancements such as IoT integration and vision-based inspection systems for quality control.
