DeFi utilizes the blockchain and smart contracts in order to deliver the financial services directly to everybody with- out permission and reduces the need for traditional middlemen. It’s also risky owing to a multitude of interconnected security, governance, and economic risks that can cause widespread loss, market fluctuations, and cascading failures in the system, especially in stablecoin systems. They can be managed with strong governance mechanisms, decentralization controls, and law amendments. Additionally, this paper presents the implementation of a Crypto Staking DApp to demonstrate the practical application of DeFi concepts and associated risks.
