📝 Abstract
The study adopted explanatory research design, strategy used was cross-sectional survey, approach to the study was qualitative research, source of data collection was primary source, method of data collection was one-on-one interview, population of the study were Ayanfuri Gyamanhene and his sub-chiefs including exchiefs and method of data analysis was qualitative data analysis technique. The objectives of the study were achieved through research. Problem statement of the study was "Determining the owner of Denkyira Ayanfuri land in Central Region of Ghana: Evidence from Ayanfuri Gyaman". With the literature review, the study considered legal court judgement proceedings of a parcel of land called Gyaman Dadaa. The study found out that Ayanfuri Ancestors came from Akyem Amanfo, Ayanfuri Gyaman Ancestors originated from Abankeseso, ancient Denkyira capital and Ayanfurihene acquired land from Ayanfuri Gyamanhene. The study generalized that Ayanfuri Gyamanhene gave Ayanfurihene, Oson Pa Nto a place to stay. The study recommended that Ayanfuri Gyamanhene should have land title certificate indicating Ayanfur land belonged to him.
