This reflection focuses on the “with” as a palliative to the lack of trust in formal financial institutions in GOMA. The population of Goma has adopted a strategy of “with” not only for the survival and development but also to circumvent the various conditions imposed by banks for easy access to credit. The “with” are the fruits of solidarity experienced within social groups, mutual societies, associations, it is taken as a tontine system in which people meet regularly and each pay their contribution, the total amount, of which is given in turn to each member according to an initially agreed time interval. The stakes for each member, a credit is granted according to the number of shares saved and the regularity fund.
